COI
[edit]Rycy@rycy.com has been the major contributer to this article & the uploader & owner of the image, the subject of the article is president of RYCY Productions Inc. Either the subject is editing his own article or an employee of his company is. I've ref tagged parts of it, also added a reference that I could actually find. pls don't revert, but find some WP:RS for the claims, thanks.
Removal of information
[edit]The problems with this article were as follows:
- The claim that Guerra composed the theme to the Latin Grammys cannot be sourced other than some non-WP:RS website called "Contacto Magazine" or his own (rycy.com). I can find no independent press releases that back this up no matter how many combinations and search engines I try. So it has to go.
- The claims about having worked with Celia Cruz et. al. are fine, but I couldn't source them, either.
- The biographical information very probably comes from the author (thus the WP:COI concern). None of it can be sourced independently, and his favorite instrument is not critical anyway.
- The only thing I was able to source independently is the MMFA performance of his work, which also happens to be the reason why I'm stubbing this article rather than putting it up for deletion.
As is usual per WP:BLP, no unsourced information should be added to a biography. So don't, even if you know it's true. §FreeRangeFrog 03:45, 15 February 2009 (UTC)
