The people in this area most of them are Berber (amazigh). they speak Amazigh Language as a mother language, and Arabic Language as a second Language. The government force people to use Arabic Language instead of their Amazigh Language. Yefren or Ifran
[edit]In this part of Libya the people saved the history and culture of Lbyan identify, like clothes, food, tridational, cermonies, language and building. There are many of fields need study and report as international human inhiratage. For example, the name of Yefren or Ifran in Amazigh language means caves, and the singular is Afri (cave). This name is exist in Morrocco Ifran with the same meaning. Anyone comes to this area he will see lots of caves used in the bast and some people using them up to now. Some scientists said that the name of Africa comes from the Yefren or Ifran doe to this socaity which lived in caves in the bast.
