No point in beating about the bush. This is an excellent article which is highly readable, very informative and almost completely sourced. I suppose it is necessary to do a bit of "nit-picking" to prove I've actually done a review. So, well, there are three or four places where I've inserted a citation request tag, the main one being for the whole of the career stats section and then there are a couple of sentences where a citation would be nice for completeness. I've made a couple of small copyedits, one in the lead to confirm the actual dates of his pro career in addition to its span, and insertion of a word somewhere else.

If you can provide the remaining citations, I will have no problem alley-ooping this and I'll place it on hold for the moment. I'm not too interested in the tedium of the FA process so I can't really say if this is ready yet for a nomination there, but it is most probably the best article I've picked up at GAN. I won't bother with the checklist here as it would be superfluous. Very well done. Jack | talk page 11:23, 18 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@BlackJack: Ha, well. This was certainly the most fun article I've worked on. Tittle's career coincided with the rise of many better-known NFL superstars, so he's been forgotten to time a bit. I'll get to the citation concerns later today. Lizard (talk) 19:02, 18 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I think that's everything. Lizard (talk) 02:29, 19 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Brilliant. Passes GA easily. I really enjoyed reviewing this one. A pity we can't upload the famous photograph, which is well-known even over here in England. I knew immediately which photo it would be when I read the description. Well done, Lizard, and all the best. Jack | talk page 10:00, 19 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
