Needs better editing

[edit]

Now I am not particularly fond of the way this article is written. It seems like a fanboy decided to disregard all rules of writing and made a post that oh-so-obviously gushed about the actress. No offence to the writer but this article is clearly not in neutral POV.

Since I'm not aware of Takeuchi-san's works (I'm more acquainted with manzai), I hope the next person to add more details on Takeuchi-san will be more careful about the editing to prevent non-neutral POV. Pasonia (talk) 06:15, 5 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

File:Yuko Takeuchi.jpg Nominated for speedy Deletion

[edit]
An image used in this article, File:Yuko Takeuchi.jpg, has been nominated for speedy deletion at Wikimedia Commons for the following reason: Copyright violations
What should I do?

Don't panic; deletions can take a little longer at Commons than they do on Wikipedia. This gives you an opportunity to contest the deletion (although please review Commons guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to upload it to Wikipedia (Commons does not allow fair use)
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale then it cannot be uploaded or used.
  • If the image has already been deleted you may want to try Commons Undeletion Request

Infobox cause of death

[edit]

{{Edit partially-blocked}} Someone keeps adding suicide to the infobox for cause of death when it hasn’t been confirmed yet. Can this be removed? MikaelaArsenault (talk) 08:40, 28 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

MikaelaArsenault,  Done. Thanks and best, Blablubbs (talkcontribs) 02:16, 5 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Yūko TakeuchiYuko Takeuchi – Her name is officially spelt in Roman characters as "Yuko Takeuchi", without the macron, across her official website. The same spelling is also used by JFDB, Asmik Ace's international sales site and the back cover of the latest US and UK release of Ring. Tempjrds (talk) 01:46, 15 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support per nomination. Unlike diacritics used within names that are written in Latin script, such as Czech, Polish or Romanian, diacritics should be attached to transliterations of Japanese names only if the bearer of the name in question has insisted on using such diacritics, with no indication that had been the case here. —Roman Spinner (talkcontribs) 08:21, 15 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
