The History of Y&T

[edit]

Wayne Stitzer actually recruited a tenor saxophone player (Gary Mendonca) because Y&T wanted to expand it's sound with horns. They actually played songs by Chicago. Wayne also played trumpet and sang lead on a tune. The band that won the Battle of the bands consisted of Dave M, Leonard H, Phil K, Wayne S and Gary M. After Gary and Wayne left Y&T, they were replaced by Joey Alves. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.181.40.19 (talk) 11:02, 2 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
