Contested deletion

[edit]

This article should not be speedy deleted as lacking sufficient context to identify its subject, because I have added more information. I am still adding more. Sorry for so many edits. yes, I know the information is still less, but at least you can change the tag. I have also invited many people (fanboys of XOLO) to edit this page. --PrajayXG (talk) 07:01, 20 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Contested deletion

[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... (your reason here) --XOLOHQ (talk) 10:22, 22 January 2014 (UTC) Please do not delete it since relevant sources has been added and more sources will be added soon.[reply]

  • I've declined the speedy since there is just enough assertion of notability to pass the speedy deletion. The problem is that you still have to source the article with reliable sources to show that it passes WP:CORP as a whole. Things such as this review would be good. As far as inviting users to edit the page, that's great but please keep in mind that the page will have to be edited to be neutral. Not that there's anything wrong with a fan editing a page about something they like, just that in most cases they're predisposed to edit to make things more positive or if they're new users, edit in a fan tone without realizing it. Anything that comes across as a fan page or overly promotional will have to be removed or edited to be neutral in tone. On that note I'd also like to caution you that since we are neutral, if there is any negative coverage of the company, that can and should be included as well. We cannot have an article that is only positive unless the company is lucky enough to have received only positive coverage. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 11:03, 22 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Reliable sources

[edit]

Please do not reinstate content that is not properly sourced. References such as <ref>according to employees edit</ref>, <ref>XOLO X-Series uses Intel Processors.</ref>, <ref>XOLO Q1000 Opus uses Broadcom chipset</ref>, and <ref>Most of the XOLO smartphones in the Q and A series except Q500 and A500 are MediaTek based.</ref> are not suitable and they can't be verified by other editors. Flat Out let's discuss it 01:57, 23 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Oh really ? If you didn't remove the models' list.... PrajayXG (talk) 09:21, 23 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The list of models is not a source, nor is it notable. Flat Out let's discuss it 09:38, 23 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Sure, but an unsourced table of every model with detailed tech data is what was there when I made the edit. Flat Out let's discuss it 11:31, 23 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Products section

[edit]

The section on products needs to be either rewritten as prose or moved to a separate list. -- Rohini (talk) 11:13, 31 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
