CARDCO (of Wichita)
[edit]Isn't it amazing that you forgot to include the fact that Xetec copied the CARDCO printer interface concept. CARDCO sold between 300,000 and 400,000 printer interfaces for the VIC20 and C64. Commodore got help from CARDCO to fix some serial bugs in the Commodore printer and floppy drive. CARDCO had a full-page cover advertisement in COMPUTE! Magazine for a very long time.

Did Boeing Copy The Wright Brothers Concept?
[edit]Granted, Xetec's interfaces may not have been the first to market, but their interfaces added many innovations over CARDCO's. I don't think any Xetec interfaces were functionally identical to theirs. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Strange deja vu (talk • contribs) 03:22, 13 June 2012 (UTC)
