[edit]I plan to update this article by adding detail to the lead section to further describe the bacterium. I also plan to make modifications to the "Pathovar" section to describe the pathovars identified and get rid of the list, as many are now looked at as separate species. I will discuss Xanthomonas campestris pv. campestris, Xanthomonas campestris pv. raphani, and Xanthomonas campestris pv. incanae, which are the 3 pathovars that are now proposed.
