[edit]I looked up this page on a whim. It is so rife with inaccuracies that it is painful. I am tempted just to delete the entire article and start over.
His birth name is wrong. His birth place is wrong. Even the spelling of "Kandinsky" is wrong. And he did not study under Klee or Kandinsky. They were dead. He studied under Masters who had studied under Klee and Kandinsky.
Here is what I am going to do. I AM GOING TO CORRECT THIS ARTICLE. Since it is already incredibly poorly sourced, at this point I am just going to make wholesale corrections. I will provide proper citation later.
I am going out on a bit of a limb here because the information I am going to provide is information which is already in my head. I will make corrections only if I am 100% certain of them. The citations are, I know, out there, because I've read the material. For the person who added the brief Meridian piece:
Meridian did a HUGE (not entirely accurate) article on Wulf quite some time ago.
Wulf Barsch is my uncle. Ours is a small family; I know him well.Samantha1961 (talk) 23:32, 27 November 2009 (UTC)
- For what it's worth, the current incarnation has the artist's personal seal of approval as to accuracy. I will be working to flesh it out after the holidays and hopefully start adding citations even sooner.Samantha1961 (talk) 23:32, 27 November 2009 (UTC)
- thank-you very much. artists are a notorious problem due to wiki-bias. i changed prix de rome to rome prize which i believe is correct (although some sources say the other way, it is confused with the French one), and will add some inline refs. Accotink2 talk 17:31, 26 July 2010 (UTC)
