Arnhem isn’t a sister city anymore
It’s in Dutch, but Arnhem isn’t a sister city anymore because of what happens in Xinjiang. Source: https://nos.nl/artikel/2390294-arnhem-verbreekt-stedenband-met-wuhan-vanwege-behandeling-oeigoeren-in-china 2001:1C04:4E01:6700:6071:7B40:B2E:CC6 (talk) 14:02, 22 July 2021 (UTC)
small change request
Next to the photo of the gunboat Zhongshan there is a reference to Nanking. This is Wade-Giles, people always say it wrong, the name of the city has always been pronunced Nan Jing, could someone please change to the pinyin romanization, which is easier for non-Chinese speakers to get right ? Gracias (and no idea why a covid footnote is getting postfixed to me request, oh well.) 73.83.43.194 (talk) 08:15, 11 April 2021 (UTC)
- Wait until someone replies and you can go give out details. 2601:205:C001:EA0:8C8C:2AE3:19B5:861D (talk) 02:04, 17 June 2022 (UTC)
Pronunciation
So, what region is the first given pronunciation supposed to be appropriate for if the second and third are "US also"? Britain and some Commonwealth nations? It's not made clear.67.83.99.134 (talk) 21:49, 20 September 2022 (UTC)corpho

"On December 31, 2019, SARS-CoV-2, a novel coronavirus that caused the COVID-19 pandemic, was first discovered in Wuhan and the city was the location of the first lockdown of the pandemic in January 2020."
Add this following sentence: "Since then, COVID-19 has spread to other countries in Asia and then to the other continents. This has lead to many cancellation of gatherings and festivals around the country and the world. It had also lead to discrimination against Wuhan people and culture. Most unfortunately, this had led 2020 to be one of the worst years to be alive in 21st century and modern history." 204.129.232.195 (talk) 17:12, 7 November 2022 (UTC)
