Regarding "clarification needed"

[edit]

@Numberguy6 So I took a look at the sources for the claim on timezones and I wasn't able to find anything useful. Of the four cited sources, only source 9 discusses the timezone screw up, and it only makes a brief allusion to it. I did wanna clarify the case, so I wanted to see the actual case on Google Scholar. Using Google Scholar on Case Law and searching for 'David Camm "6:19pm"' only returned two sources, one unrelated and one being the third appeal case from 2004. Ctrl+f for 6:19pm shows only one report, and it also leaves it at "software error concerning Indiana's unusual time zones". Looking at Time in Indiana, Daylight saving time in the United States, and the time and place the murder occured, my best guess is it had to do with Floyd county unofficially following DST at the time of the murder while the rest of the state did not. But I can't find any reliable information on this, and I doubt there ever will be given that the case itself doesn't clarify that. So for now, I am removing your tag.
