Capitalization of Black and White?

The Wikipedia Manual of Style states: "Ethno-racial "color labels" may be given capitalized (Black and White) or lower-case (black and white)." Thompson uses "Black" and "white" (e.g., the Black boy was lynched by white men). I've adopted Thompson's convention. Guidance welcomed! Don Q314 (talk) 20:27, 4 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
