I deleted the "End date" because the tour can coninue into 2010.we'll see.(Deathmagnetic08 (talk) 06:50, 16 August 2008 (UTC))
I deleted the "Leg II" header because the tour update at Metallica.com pretty clearly says "First leg of N. American tour dates," regardless of the fact that the dates begin in 2008 and continue into 2009. Wangoed (talk) 04:27, 20 August 2008 (UTC)
The tour is called "World Magnetic" Tour, you can see it on livemetallica.com —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.32.69.46 (talk) 07:01, 2 October 2008 (UTC)
Setlist...
[edit]Hey, theres a few sites with the setlist for the tour.. i looked at probably 4 sites and they all have the same setlist. i dont remember all of the sites names but i printed out the setlist. one site i do remember though, is metallicatour2008.blogspot.com im going to put the setlist on the article, feel free to take it off if there arent enough sources or if it violates terms or whatever. ok, thanks
- I just erased it. the setlist you posted was the Phoenix setlist (I was there, I heard it). But the setlist has been different every night. Metontour.com is Metallica's official tour site, it has setlists, photos and videos from every stop on the tour.Arch stanton1138 (talk) 23:28, 29 October 2008 (UTC)
Ok, sounds good. I just read that list on a few different sites but ok. yeah im seeing them on the 1st in Portland, looks like a good show. How was the Phoenix one?
Well, someone undid my changes on the setlist. I added a cover song that was played on San José, Costa Rica. I live in Costa Rica, and I went to the concert. Besides, it's on the official audio at http://www.livemetallica.com/live-music/0,332/Metallica-mp3-flac-download-3-7-2010-Saprissa-Stadium-San-Jose-CRI.html so unless someone explains to me why exactly it was removed, I'm re-adding it.
Round stage
[edit]Should be added something about the round stage -placed in the middle of arenas- they will use while on tour. Maybe they're already using it, I don't know, for sure they used it in the English and German dates on December 2008, and will use it again in Europe. --82.54.153.147 (talk) 20:11, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
Confirmed. I mean they used it [the round stage, which is not round but square] at the June 14 2009 show in Helsinki and the word is (accrording to metclub.com) that it will be used at all the gigs on the tour... -- 04:15, 15 June 2009 (UTC)Fi_f8
- I definitely think there should be some mention of this in the article, it's pretty unusual for bands to have this kind of stage as far as I know... Demonofthefall (talk) 13:55, 21 November 2010 (UTC)
North American Leg II
[edit]Are there gonna be no support bands or are they just unannounced?3pointswish (talk) 02:11, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
I'm pretty sure that Britney Spears is NOT opening for Metallica, she's on her own tour right now, and they aren't exactly the type of music that would go well together. 72.138.26.128 (talk) 20:54, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
Is there any confirmation/links to support the claim that Lamb of God and the Sword will once again be supporting Metallica on the 2nd North American leg. I've checked official sites of Metallica and Lamb of God and nothing has been mentioned of this. AnthonyG (talk) 17:48, 14 April 2009 (UTC)
There is currently no information on if Metallica will have any supporting acts. Lamb of God and The Sword should be removed from the North American Leg II. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.240.80.95 (talk) 02:45, 17 April 2009 (UTC)
Charlotte, NC concert
[edit]Volbeat wasn't there, Gojira was.
Edited. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.98.192.29 (talk) 15:21, 19 October 2009 (UTC)
Someone edited it back. I'm confused. Gojira was there, Volbeat was not. Really. I was there. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.204.251.138 (talk) 23:49, 20 October 2009 (UTC)
REQUEST LOCKING UP
[edit]Jesus, all these vandals. The page was constantly vandalised for the previous several days. Someone needs to lock it up. Metalliman (talk) 10:50, 23 November 2009 (UTC)

Ongoing disruption
[edit]All UK dates are listed under the UK as a country and using the Union Jack. An IP editor thinks Northern Ireland should be treated differently and uses an incorrect flag, the Ulster Banner which has had no official status in Northern Ireland since 1973 and is only used in some sporting contexts. There is no reason for this inconsistency or use of an unofficial flag, and it is disruptive to keep making this edit. O Fenian (talk) 12:19, 11 January 2010 (UTC)
Asia
[edit]Are they going to Asia/Oceania for this tour? Portillo (talk) 03:37, 1 March 2010 (UTC)
Tour Legs
[edit]Doesn't everyone agree that if the "legs" are consecutive and in one continent, they are just one leg. Because I'm sure Metallica intends this also. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Franticflare14 (talk • contribs) 22:06, 20 May 2010 (UTC)
One...
[edit]the "One" count is definitely wrong as one time Fade to black was played instead by mistake - but I suppose there are more errors than only that —Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.47.164.178 (talk) 16:53, 15 December 2010 (UTC)
Absolutely. The article states the band has played 166 shows on the tour, but songs like "Seek & Destroy" or "Master of Puppets" were performed 186 times (according to this article). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 188.98.180.175 (talk) 08:34, 13 January 2014 (UTC)
