Recording permission to copy material from another website.

[edit]

I have received permission from a representative of the Women's Voices Theater Festival to copy the play descriptions from their site (womensvoicestheaterfestival.org) for use in the "Descriptions" column of this article. I assume, as with copyrighted pictures, I need to have them send an email to somewhere in Wikipedia with this authorization. Where?

@Ecragg: The e-mail address they need to send the permission to is permissions-en@wikimedia.org. (They will ensure that things run smoothly if they copy the sample message at Wikipedia:Declaration of consent for all enquiries.) General instructions can be found at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. Deor (talk) 14:49, 1 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
As of 19 December such an email has been sent. Future additions to the festivals productions will start with cut and pasted play descriptions from the www.womensvoicestheaterfestival.org. Other editors, particularly those who have seen the productions, are encouraged to further edit the descriptions.
