What the?
[edit]Wogan made a pelican flinch by making a "whoa" gesture at it onstage in 1989. This was widely interpreted as a warning to descendants of the dinosaurs although Wogan denied this interpretation, stating that he had merely stumbled towards the bird because he'd had a few scoops in the green room beforehand.
This makes zero sense. Especially the bold parts. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 138.243.195.136 (talk) 09:02, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
"other celebrities again took it in terms to stand in for Terry"
[edit]Could someone that knows what that means reword it so it's clearer? Thanks. ++Lar: t/c 03:10, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
Recording/broadcast location
[edit]The article currently states: "The show was generally broadcast live from BBC Television Theatre in Shepherd's Bush, London until 1988." Is there a source for this? I am questioning it as I attended a recording in summer 1990 (guests were Michael Hesiltine, Gary Lineker and Peter Shilton) which took place at the Shepherd's Bush theatre.
