Feedback from New Page Review process
[edit]I left the following feedback for the creator/future reviewers while reviewing this article: Good start. IMO has POV issues which should get fixed. Starting with the lead. Happy editing.

Low quality sources
[edit]Nearly this whole article is sourced to newsmedia sources and, of those, the largest grouping is Israeli news sources. I'm rather concerned to see Wikipedia being used to launder the opinions of these publications as if they were facts. I'm honestly wondering whether this group is even notable in a context outside of being a bogeyman for 2024 propaganda. Simonm223 (talk) 12:58, 21 March 2024 (UTC)
- Within Our Lifetime is a pretty huge organization in New York City, at least on the level of Act Up NY in the 90s. They've also faced objectively brutal state repression. Like, NYPD keeps flying literal helicopters over their protests As a New Yorker who once attended a WOL protest and found it to be extremely peaceful (but has no ties to the organization otherwise), I too am troubled by the number of Israeli and conservative news sources here (including the New York Times which has shown bias against anti-Zionist orgs in the city). lead improvement needed
[edit]The lead here is barren, and almost oversummarizes - it just goes over the group's founding, claimed ideology, and a police crackdown against them. Never mentioned in the lead is their activity in any level of specificity or detail - such as their "flood (x location)" protests, or their statements (especially pro-Hamas or pro-attack ones) and ensuing controversy that differentiate them from other groups. Change all appearances of "Israel-Hamas war" to "Hamas-Israel war".
On October 7, 2023, Hamas attacked Israel and started the war. It is customary to first name the aggressor in a conflict between two countries or parties of conflict. Hamas, which rules Gaza since 2006, is the (then) elected and de-facto government in Gaza and represents a state-like entity in all respects.
Using the term "Israel-Hamas war" wrongly suggests that the conflict was initiated by Israel. Israel had unilaterally disengaged from Gaza in 2005 and no Israelis or Israeli troops operated in or against Gaza/Hamas in the time running up to the conflict. In fact, on October 7, Hamas had broken the ceasefire that existed between the two conflict parties. Powerhouse64 (talk) 15:57, 25 June 2024 (UTC)
- Not done: Israel–Hamas war is the established name of the conflict per the numerous RMs on its talk page. Liu1126 (talk) 16:32, 25 June 2024 (UTC)
- It is sad that bad habit justifies historical distortion. Powerhouse64 (talk) 10:59, 13 July 2024 (UTC)
Reorganization of the article?
[edit]Despite the large amount of timeline content in this article, it remains a low-importance article, but WOL simply has a more significant documentation than other pro-Palestinian groups in the US. Is the timelime layout the best way to go, or should the article be reorganized to avoid a timeline and rather be divided into aspects of the group (like political positions, public support for Palestinian militancy, etc) ? Evaporation123 (talk) 21:40, 3 September 2024 (UTC)
- This would probably be a better approach, I skipped over the timeline when skimming this article. Prezbo (talk) 12:14, 6 October 2024 (UTC)

"mirroring Neo-Nazi Holocaust denialism" should be deleted.
The source[1] makes no comparison to or mention of neo-Nazi Holocaust denial. The inclusion of this line is original research.
