Response to WP:PROD

In response to to this article being PRODed, Winthrop Avenue is part of State Route 61. Wikipedia:Notability (geographic features)is a draft guideline, but roadways section seems to have consensus (see talk page)). It states that "International road networks (such as the International E-road network), Interstate, national, state and provincial highways are typically notable." Also, according to WP:FIVEPILLARS, Wikipedia also functions as / incorporates elements of a gazetteer. I admit the article needs more sources and an expanded history section - I will try to look for more of them. - Evad37 (talk) 06:03, 17 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
