  • ... that Museum Arnhem in the Netherlands celebrated its 100th anniversary with a giant cat picture? • Interesting article. Submitted for DYK on the day it was created, 3324 characters of prose. Includes inline citations with several sources beyond museum websites, including newspapers and TV sites. Checked machine translation of "Wilma met kat" page on Museum Arnhem website, and no concerns regarding copyvio or close paraphrasing. Overall tone is neutral (as opposed to some of the sources which are gushing with cat fandom). AGF on Dutch language sources; images included within the article appear to have been carefully vetted from a licensing point of view (fair use of main artwork; permission granted for photograph of Wilma; NL has freedom of panorama or equivalent for picture of building with artwork on it). (There was one fact – the fact that Wilma was Carel's second wife – which was unsourced but I added a source from the main Carel Wilink page.) QPQ is done. The hook is factually correct and is stated within the article with appropriate citations. While one could argue this is a "marketing hook" in the sense of "this is a DYK hook about something a marketing department did", it's written neutrally and interestingly; it doesn't cram the hook with extraneous facts; and the painting itself is central to the article.
