William Sayle founded Port Royal?
[edit]Where in the world did this idea come from? He in fact founded Charleston in 1670, not Port Royal. Port Royal as a town dates only to the late 1800s, and Port Royal Island was not settled by Englishmen until the 1680s, as is mentioned in the Port Royal Sound article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rcharlesholmes (talk • contribs) 05:36, 16 February 2009 (UTC)
