Why does the page use a caricature rather than a picture?

- Pictures of the guy exist, the question is whether we can claim fair use to use them here. The basic rule is that if free images could reasonably be uploaded then we can't really claim fair use. Given there is an available caricature and that I'd bet that someone visiting this archive could find something that we could use pretty quickly, I don't really think we can claim fair use. Then there's the question of whether the other images that seem to be on the net (1, 2) are still in copyright. The problem is identifying the photographers. If we can prove they died more than 70 years ago then we can use them. If we can establish that the identity of the photographers is unknown and they were published more than 70 years ago then we can use them. If not, we can't. JMiall₰ 19:22, 31 January 2015 (UTC)
