[edit]

(Radhatanaya 01:06, 22 October 2007 (UTC)) I have a photo of Dr. Balls which will enhance the beauty of the write up. Do you want it ? It was taken from one of the oldest magazines of Textile products. The Textile Mirror and Argus, which ceased to exist of the onslaught of competition over the years.[reply]

(x 06:37, 30 September 2007 (UTC)) I can contribute a photo of Dr.Balls, from my book, " My spin lab" —Preceding unsigned comment added by Radhatanaya (talkcontribs) 02:26, September 10, 2007[reply]

Mr Radhatanaya, the picture can be uploaded to the article but the copyright is important. Who owns the copyright to the photograph? --Malcolmxl5 20:42, 5 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

(Radhatanaya 00:07, 7 October 2007 (UTC) )This picture, was scanned by me from an old textile periodical, called Textile Recorder and Argus ; it ceased its publication, long ago. There's an obituary for Dr. W. Lawrence Balls, C.M.G., C.B.E., F.R.S. by D W Hill in Nature 187, 989 - 990 (1960), which would no doubt be a very helpful addition to the sources. Unfortunately, I can't get to it as it's a subscription service. --Malcolmxl5 11:25, 23 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

And he seems to have an entry in Who was Who, which would also be useful. --Malcolmxl5 11:32, 23 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I have obtained the obituary and will add this to the sources later. --Malcolmxl5 20:42, 5 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
