several bunker hills

[edit]

i removed the reference to bunker hill, west virginia because there are several locales named bunker hill, including one near this man's family graveyard in bedford county.Jweaver28 (talk) 23:51, 14 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Notability

[edit]

In the 1850 federal census, Goggin characterized himself as a "farmer" and owned 18 enslaved persons. He owned 30 enslaved persons in 1860.

What is the purpose of these slave-counts unless they have some notability? The category 'American slave owner' should be restricted to people whose slave-owning history was notable in itself. Valetude (talk) 09:22, 17 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
