Clashing Information
[edit]In researching biographical information on Sir William, I have noticed two discrepancies to the information given in the article as it is:
- He was not MP for Wenlock until his death but to 1715 (latter point supported by table in article on the constituency).
- He was a Cambridge University alumnus so appears in Venn's Athenae Cantabrigienses, which states he died on 4 March 1717/18 (not in February).
I am augmenting this article with information from Venn and from the article on MPs for Wenlock in Transactions of the Shropshire Archaeological Society (published 1902).Cloptonson (talk) 19:05, 21 December 2013 (UTC)
