I would like it to be known that I have attempted to make a nice, brief, summarizing article outlining the basics of the great career of my friend Bill, without listing unnecessary and superfluous information to muddy things up, leaving links for people to follow if they wish to learn more, like the Facebook page which I also started, or the IMDB page which lists pretty much everything he's done over the years. Since people seem intent to come in and add little tidbits of silliness, and since the apparent moderators (possibly self-imposed) appear to be backing up these attacks of mediocrity, I wash my hands of this article. Do whatever the hell you want to it. I don't care. I've always known this site to be mostly a joke anyway. I just wanted to have one respectful thing to stand here for a wonderful man, but everyone just has to screw it up. --Lvillealumni (talk) 03:26, 7 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I agree that some of the information is too detailed, and one editor in particular does this in other articles as well. I'll see what I can do to tidy it up. OscarL16:09, 7 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I have removed a citation to this newspaper article from the "Hollywood" subsection. The cited article contains a good bit of information about his living conditions in 1951, but I cannot see that it contains any of the information that the citation was supposed to support.
