This page should not be speedily deleted because...

a) Dornan made more appearances for Hibernian than virtually any other footballer. I think he's in the top three.

b) Hibernian is a top flight football team in Scotland.

c) Would this deletion be being put forward if his team was in one of the bigger leagues i.e. England?

d) That the appearances came in the 1920s should not impact the page's inclusion on Wikipedia. If this was a modern day Hibernian footballer with 357 appearances for the club there is no doubt he would be included.

e) Pages abound about Scottish footballers and sports stars (and from around the world) from the late 19th century onwards, many of whom have far less interesting back stories.
