On Whitney and the automobile

Why isn't there any info on Whitney as a pioneer of the automobile (and the electric vehicle), especially his relations with the Electric Vehicle Company, Peter Arrell Brown Widener and George B. Selden? Faunas (talk) 13:29, 31 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

John Whitney family (not founder)

This has been corrected to state that he was one of dozens of descendants (not the founder) of the 1600's John Whitney family, and now also agrees with that separate article.
