Party?

[edit]

I know that mayoral elections in Texas are nonpartisan, but most politicians are nonetheless affiliated with a party. Is Wynn a Democrat? john k (talk) 18:45, 25 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Assault Charge

[edit]

Why is there nothing on his assault charge in this article? --71.155.190.112 (talk) 06:36, 3 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

That content had been removed by another editor and has now been restored. EagleAg04 (talk) 13:35, 3 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Misdemeanor not crime

[edit]

I removed the Category American politicians convicted of crimes, juridically wrong (although misdemeanor is a criminal act) : WW was convicted of misdemeanor in the case mentioned above. --Pierre et Condat (talk) 22:36, 22 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Potentially libelous material

[edit]

On 02 November 2017, this page was edited to include: "On November 1, 2017, Former mayor Will Wynn drunk and in an angry rage verbally assaulted a concierge staff of a downtown condo for him being blocked in a parking lot. The encounter was recorded and is now on social media. The victim is hoping to expose him for this and is following up with the media." On the same day, a YouTube user named Pat Hinshaw uploaded this video, showing a brief hostile exchange between Wynn and a condo employee. As of 11/29/18, the video has 110 views.

Given the tone of the claim, the timeframe, and the video's low view count, it's highly likely that the edit was made by the same person who uploaded the video. The uploader identifies himself as the employee in the video.

The author's claim of drunkenness and verbal assault is not verified by any third party. This is a breach of Wikipedia's editing policy and a potentially libelous statement, and it has been removed. Wikipedia is not a forum for the prosecution of personal grudges.
