Wilhelm cognate of Balaam?
[edit]The 'General History', by king Alphonse X of Spain, 'the savant', Book XXVIII, number XIII: 'About how Balaam went to curse the Israel people, and he was unable to, because the Lord didn't want, and his donkey talk him', begins: 'We will talk about Bilham, it est, about Balaam...'. Even if Wilhelm is considered a name of Germanic roots, the coincidence is high. Is there a connection between Wilhelm/ Bilham/ Balaam? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hijuecutivo (talk • contribs) 08:42, 23 September 2018 (UTC)
