I believe this article and Zoonosis are talking about the same thing. I suggest that we merge the content. Manum56 (talk) 10:21, 18 December 2014 (UTC)
- While the article is currently slanted towards zoonoses, and utterly fails to clearly define wildlife disease, the two topics are distinct but related: zoonoses are a subset of wildlife diseases that cross over into human health. Many wildlife diseases do not infect humans (e.g. rinderpest, chytridiomycosis), and there are journals and societies dedicated to Wildlife Diseases. While some content here might be used to supplement zoonosis (properly cited of course), this article needs a rewrite including a general introduction, less anthropocentricism, more global perspective, and more sources. --Animalparty-- (talk) 21:34, 21 December 2014 (UTC)
