[edit]This article is wholly inadequite. It reads like it was translated by babble-fish.
- I agree, the article reads like gibberish. For starters, the article is titled 'wrench size', but the lede starts with 'width across flats'. And there's a section titled 'width across flats', which doesn't actually discuss that concept, but rather lists the standard sizes. And the last section, on bicycles, has no place in this article, from what I can figure out at least. I'll put a cleanup tag on it, maybe someone who understands spanners (!) can help. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 10:41, 18 July 2020 (UTC)
The sizes are wrong, for example every M10 nut/bolt I have ever used (and that's a lot) use a 17mm spanner, I'm a 55 years old engineer and I have never used a 16mm spanner. The entire article seems to be nonsense. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 5.64.204.248 (talk) 16:25, 27 April 2024 (UTC)
- I renamed the article and did some weeding of the text. Please do more... — GhostInTheMachine talk to me 11:59, 30 December 2024 (UTC)
