Contested deletion
[edit]This page should not be speedily deleted because the 21st season of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire is basically a revival of the original show. The original series was canceled in 2019 but was revived by ABC. If you go to the official website of Millionaire, ABC counts the 21st season as "Season 1" as it's a revival of the original series. This new season hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, shouldn't be deleted as it's a revival, is hosted by a new person, and includes episodes that can be listed as they air.--Some Dude From North Carolina (talk) 21:16, 26 July 2020 (UTC)
- Nothing has changed in the eight weeks since the last AFD. All of this is addressed in Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Who Wants to Be a Millionaire (American game show, season 21). This is not a revival nor a new version. None of this content meets WP:N nor WP:EPISODE for a separate article of eight special episodes to exist. If this were true, there would be a separate article for every other season of this show—again, which does not meet WP guidelines. One season out of 21 is not deserving of its own article. Consensus is against having a stand-alone article on this. AldezD (talk) 21:21, 26 July 2020 (UTC)
- @AldezD, I believe the article has enough to apply for WP:SUSTAINED. The game was canceled in 2019, and ABC revived the show. This alone is notable for an article, where enough references are shown. A new host, a "new" way to play, the show was affected by a pandemic, the contestants were playing for charity, and the fact that there was an empty audience are all enough information to say that this article is notable because it has enough information (and enough references) on the topic. - @Some Dude From North Carolina. This article was deleted per consensus. Nothing has changed in the eight weeks since the closure of the AFD. This content is adequately covered in Who Wants to Be a Millionaire (American game show)#Broadcast history / Who Wants to Be a Millionaire (American game show)#Special editions. AldezD (talk) 12:46, 27 July 2020 (UTC)
- @AldezD, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire (American game show)#Broadcast history doesn't cover anything about the 21st season, and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire (American game show)#Special editions only tells the reader that a new season came out with Jimmy Kimmel and that a 22nd second had been announced. The article we're talking about has information on the show and how it's been impacted, viewer information, and reviews of the show. Once again, this is a revival, as ABC canceled the series in 2019 (The ABC website counts it as the 1st season). Because of this, the season is unique from the rest and has enough information notable for its own article. Some Dude From North Carolina (talk) 17:12, 27 July 2020 (UTC)
- @Some Dude From North Carolina the article was deleted by consensus eight weeks ago. You're re-creating an article that has already gone through a deletion discussion. AldezD (talk) 17:31, 27 July 2020 (UTC)
- @AldezD, once again, I am stating that WP:SUSTAINED can be placed in this discussion and that a new discussion should be made. Some Dude From North Carolina (talk) 17:36, 27 July 2020 (UTC)

@Some Dude From North Carolina All reasons in your argument for inclusion are addressed in the deletion discussion, which was closed as delete. You are not introducing any new content, sources or information that meets WP guidelines. Regarding WP:SUSTAINED, eight weeks is not "a sufficiently significant period of time". - AldezD, I suggest you take it to AfD as it is not G4 eligible, not being significantly identical to the version which was redirected. (t · c) buidhe 17:46, 27 July 2020 (UTC)
