I added a creative commons licensed photo. It's alright. I'm looking for a nicer one. Chad 22:39, 13 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Use as Drinking Water Source

[edit]

I removed the reference to the lake's use as a drinking water source for Dallas because it is no longer used as that. The reference is wrong. Here is a link to the City of Dallas water department which states that "Dallas' drinking water comes from five lakes: Grapevine, Lewisville, Ray Roberts, Ray Hubbard and Tawakoni."

Also see the article regarding removal as a drinking water source in 1929. http://www.whiterocklakemuseum.org/1910-1929.htm —Preceding unsigned comment added by Crispini (talkcontribs) 17:37, 21 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This article needs attention pretty badly. This lake is so important to the city and its citizens.. it needs a good article (and some pictures... drumguy8800 C T 09:38, 7 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
