Article[edit]

I previously removed a reference to Sterling Holloway (as the voice of the White Rabbit from the 1951 Disney film), because a perusal both of his page in Wikipedia and in IMDB indicate that he was the voice of the Cheshire Cat; neither says anything about him also being the voice of the White Rabbit. Matrix ?[edit]

Nearly pointless article[edit]

Oppose. Wikipedia article titles are case sensitive. A white rabbit is a white rabbit. White Rabbit is a proper noun referring to a specific white rabbit. (Proper nouns are capitalized in English.   - Agree with this action. Although it may not be completely safe to assume that these votes are by the same person, we really have no choice. Even if there are multiple users voting here and even if they were each to each create a userid, then unless they use different IPs at least occasionally, we'd have to disallow their votes anyway as likely sock puppets. Oppose and agree with Speedy close. The article has a very nice dab hatnote that adequately provides for other uses. I do suppose that it is a cultural bias that makes this the primary usage, but that is true of all primary uses. As far as I can tell, outside Wikipedia, NO ONE uses White Rabbit to refer to the character, they all refer to the character as White Rabbit (Alice's Adventures in Wonderland). Gender[edit]

The article says "Gender: Male", but it's a bit more interesting than that: the pronoun used is sometimes it and sometimes he, and I suspect that there's method in the madness: Lewis Carroll is deliberately or unconsciously applying an animacy hierarchy. Ideally this would be indicated somehow in the article. How does Wikipedia describe the gender of a character that is consistently referred to with it?
