Unsubstantiated opinions

[edit]

Sounds like someone is up on their soapbox when the author claims that cat food may be the cause of decreased lifespan in cats. The link is not a trustworthy source and there is no evidence to support the claim.

If you know/knew Russian, you would be able to read this and see that Whiskas often goes with a certain disease. That is the case with Whiskas dry food in Russia. Also with Kitekat and some others.

I recall reading small blurbs in Ekstra Bladet regarding Whiskas a few times. According to them, Whiskas is bad for cats that have been neutered or spayed. I can't verify this claim, however, not being a feline scientist.

just go ask any veterinary and im sure he will say the same thing i am:DO NOT GIVE WHISKAS TO YOUR CAT.its just like mcdonalds (or your prefered foodmaker here instead of mcdonalds) for us....is it tasty ?ofcourse.is it good as mad?ofcourse. But it also not good at all for your health.same thing applies to whiskas...except for the fact your cat probably doesnt know its bad for his health and thats ofcourse why they will eat it, probably much more than any other healthier cat food.btw,im going to remove some content non-fit for wikipedia at the article.

"Cat Food Coupons"

[edit]

Just noticed there is an external link for cat food coupons -- why is that even there? It doesn't add anything to the article and the link goes (apparently) to a parked domain. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.229.155.237 (talk) 00:34, 5 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Temptations?

[edit]

Why is this Whiskas product not mentioned? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 184.147.129.96 (talk) 16:38, 29 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Kal Kan?

[edit]

http://kalkan.com/Products.aspx

I typed in Kal Kan and see an article on Whiskas. Uh, yeah, something's wrong here, especially according to the official website. 70.180.188.238 (talk) 17:36, 2 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I thought that Kal Kan was dog food [shown fed to Einstein in Back to the Future] and Whiskas is cat food. Kal Kan and Whiskas are not the same product. Pedigree was the successor to the product that was Kal Kan. 2604:2D80:440D:827F:F090:1E68:4DD0:C832 (talk) 14:51, 3 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
