This article is out of control
[edit]Problems include huge sections of unreferenced content, external links within the text which is not allowed as per WP:MOS, lack of reliable sources. Essentially this article is an advertisement. The effect is to make the subject of the article appear unprofessional, not a serious filmmaker but a self-promoter, and to undercut Wikipedia's integrity. Generally the subject of the article should not be contributing her as per rules about conflict of interest. Please fix this article; add sources; if there are no sources please cut the material.--Tomwsulcer (talk) 12:00, 24 August 2013 (UTC)

- Agreed. The same goes for many of the other articles created by User:Wdixon. —Psychonaut (talk) 19:49, 25 August 2013 (UTC)
- Yes, noted. Thank you for tagging the article. Addressed issues. Hopefully better. Left quotes in references temporarily (will trim in a week) for checking purposes. Added infobox. Copyedit. Rewrote lede. Spot checks of references and movies and books showed there were valid references as per WP:RS; since the subject probably has seen this article, my sense is all the previous info was almost certainly right, so I think we're best off keeping it and trusting it. Reference count close to 30 now, with multiple excellent references. Hopefully the writing style is acceptable; tough writing about anybody with a PhD in English (! yikes!).--Tomwsulcer (talk) 03:18, 26 August 2013 (UTC)
