AI generated, no citations.

[edit]

This entire article appears to be AI-generated. [1]Scribbr, [2]ZeroGPT and [3]GPTZero all show 98% - 100% probability of AI generation. As a result it is not even formatted as an encyclopedic article ("This essay explores..." in addition to a whole Conclusion section), there is a grand total of one citation in the entire article, and there are some NPOV issues (eg "it is essential to prioritize conservation and sustainable management practices to protect its health and vitality".) Chatgpt also uses American English, as opposed to this should being in New Zealand English.

It appears that the AI content originated from [4]this revision. Prior to the revision the article was very short; I am not sure if it's preferable to revert the revision entirely or to edit the AI-generated content to be more appropriate. If the latter it would require rather dramatic changes throughout, in addition to adding references. Any thoughts? Groot42 (talk) 23:29, 15 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Noting that this has been resolved with help from User:Ifly6. The page should now be reverted to its state without the AI content, though with the expanded infobox still in place. Groot42 (talk) 00:59, 16 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
