Excellet NPOV, ccomprehensive article. I see what you mean about notable sources, and went looking. http://www.asauthors.org/scripts/cgiip.exe/WService=ASP0016/ccms.r?PageId=10260 mentions the award being open, and I'd imagine the Australian Society of Authors would count as an RS. http://www.writers.asn.au/index.php?page=awards basically the same, this time listed by the Fellowship of Australian Writers. Ideally I'd like to find a secondary source for the winner, but couldn't find one. still, it was only announced last week so one of the lit mags may pick this up.
