Western Ringtail Possum (Pseudocheirus occidentalis) is its own species, not a subspecies of the Common Ringtail Possum (Pseudocheirus peregrinus). This is widely recognized and should not be very controversial. I just wanted to let the viewers know that I have changed this article, to reflect the current science understanding of the this species. The Pharmacist (talk) 09:04, 23 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
