@Wakaleo13: clearly there have been some taxonomic changes and they need to be implemented, but I'm not sure that this is being handled correctly here with regard to this particular species. Your changes imply that P. bougainville has been retained as a separate taxon (correct?) but that the common name "Western barred bandicoot" is no longer applicable to it. The latter is usually not in the purview of a single publication; we go by common use in the majority of publications. In any case I can't quite tell from the paper whether they consider this common name to be now misapplied to the species or is in use somewhere else, or whether they just suggest that another name would be more suitable.
