beyond river Mulde
According to a book mentioned by a user in the German Wikipdedia here, American troops made it far beyond River Mulde into Saxony. This information may be useful in this article.--ペーター (talk) 10:37, 20 October 2017 (UTC)
Date of invasion
Wouldn't it be safe to say the invasion began with Operation Veritable and Operation Grenade in February 1945? Allied crossing of the Seigfried Line/West Wall into the rhineland, which was the historical border for Germany as of January 1945. TwoNyce (talk) 19:50, 15 December 2017 (UTC)
Confusing
The article title and content don't seem to match. The Allies had crossed the German border during the Battle of Aachen in September/October 1944. So it would make more sense to call this article something like "Western Allied Spring 1945 Campaign in Germany", or else expand the timeline to include the fall 1944 events. buidhe 09:15, 31 January 2019 (UTC)
