Photos
[edit]This is obviously a work in progress. I'll have further comments and suggestions at some point. But in the meantime (and this may be too obvious), why don't some of you all go out and take some pictures of the park? Some photos would be great! --jbmurray (talk • contribs) 04:52, 18 April 2013 (UTC)
- I agree, a few good photos can really enhance this article. How about a map or a few maps? You can request maps at Wikipedia:Graphics Lab/Map workshop once you've defined the requirement. Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 14:38, 19 April 2013 (UTC)
The "Animal life" section
[edit]The section's content is quite muddled and even repetitive. Butterflies are listed as an indented list while birds are listed in a few separate paragraphs, mammals appear to be almost randomly sprinkled inbetween. Creating consistently formatted separate lists for Birds, Mammals, Insects, Fish, etc., would be better imho. (FYI - I'm not involved in the class project.) General Comments about Post from Prof Davis
[edit]Friends at Wikipedia,
I am aware that photos are needed. We are collecting photos. We also realize that the post needs editing. Those are some of the reasons why I haven't linked to the article yet, because I don't want too many visitors.
Right now, we have around 18 students who are adding and editing material, but since we are doing most of this in class, various students tend to work on individual sections at a time. We plan to go over the whole post in a couple of weeks to remove redundancies etc.
I appreciate much of the help we have gotten, and I am so glad the post is up so that students can easily edit at home as well as in class, but I would ask for a couple more weeks for us to work out some of the kinks.
Thanks again,
ProfDavis (talk) 19:33, 25 April 2013 (UTC)ProfDavis
