Error in source article
[edit]Saw this:
- The park is the first in of Vancouver's nearly 200 green spaces to be named after a First Nations person.[2]
The journalist whose article that's the source for is quite wrong; Kitsilano is in its entirety, but including Kitsilano Beach (which is a greenspace/park). Not the same thing as a memorial name, but certainly commemorative and honorific. The wording shoudl be adjusted, I'm not sure how; no need to mention Kits, just the phrase "named after" - "named in memory of" (as "to honour" and "to commemorate" also apply to Qhatsahlano/Kitsilano.Skookum1 (talk) 07:12, 9 August 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for the heads-up- I will correct that, Skookum1.Kootenayvolcano (talk) 18:18, 9 August 2008 (UTC)
Exact location?
