My reasons for the edits made are purely to improve the page contents. The original definition is correct in the most part but could be improved. I offer the definition that is put forward as part of the Society for Underwater Technology's(SUT) "Marine Awareness" course at which i am a regular guest speaker. I offer a link to the SUT for those interested.
As part of the edit I intend to delete section 1.7 Completion from the sub headings as this , as the name implies , is the concluding part of the "Well Construction" process and is included in section 1.8 where a re completion is carried out and fall into the realm of "Well Intervention" Also altered the section on subsea well intervention to reflect the current market trends

Corrections to terminology
[edit]At the moment this section does not seem to include electric line (E-Line) Terminologies change in the oilfield all the time, but i feel this would benifit being altered to: Wireline - Slicline and braided line and E-Line - Electric line. Ffinlay (talk) 10:20, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
