Merge of drive-by download

[edit]
  • Strong DisagreeI agree they should not be merged, completely different things.
  • Strong Disagree They are separate concepts. Drive by is one of many examples of the category of web threats. We do not want to merge them all together. Widefox (talk) 15:48, 17 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Actually I think both Web threat and Drive by should be merged into Internet security. there isn't really a reason for these all to be separate articles. Merge does not mean the topics are the same - in some cases, a merge means one topic can subsume another.--Karl.brown (talk) 21:26, 25 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • The mergee doesn't fit well into this article in its current form. Web threat#Delivery methods only describes the two major classes, just listing some individual types as examples. There's no way it would accomodate a few paragraphs on a single type. — Vano 23:07, 27 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Drive by download should not be merged but CROSS REFERENCED!!--Carmine31273 (talk) 19:04, 2 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Strongly Agree This article is just a stub and should be merged into Web threat. Drivebys are clearly a web threat, and this is an obvious and clear cut merge subject. I might think differently if this article would make the merged-into article too long, or this article went into considerable depth about the subject, but neither is the case. Merge with REDIRECT. - Becksguy (talk) 15:04, 26 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Strongly Disagree Don't bury this topic or make it hard to find under a generic "Web Threat" category. It should be left separate to aid in search functions. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.122.22.10 (talk) 03:14, 18 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
