Bits and pieces
[edit]FYI, this article and Cabinet of South Australia can co-exist just as they do federally, and in QLD. Also, Cabinet of South Australia can now be and is linked in the template. Also, this article seems to have some issues. First off, personally I think current should be at the top instead of at the bottom. And the current list at the bottom has changes, ie: (until 27 May 2014) etc. The list should be current, without clarification or history. Is it an attempt to get it kinda-current without having to create a new table? Or now that we have Cabinet of South Australia with just a current list only, the need for a fix has drifted away as each article has their own purpose? Timeshift (talk) 16:54, 15 October 2015 (UTC)
- I have no problem with them coexisting if that's the case in other places, as long as someone is willing to update the Cabinet page. I think, as you said at the end, it is useful to both have a current list and a list documenting the life of the current ministry. i'm not a fan of reverse-chronological order, as in other places we've had this discussion, and I don't think there's any way to avoid denoting minor changes in that format short of having an entirely new list every time a minor change is made to the ministry (e.g. the last one, which affected nobody but Maher, Rankine, Close and Hunter, or the one before which only affected Hamilton-Smith and Close, and incredibly minor changes to Koutsantonis and Snelling). That would lead to a massively long article and I don't think it serves any purpose. The Drover's Wife (talk) 17:16, 15 October 2015 (UTC)
