Promotion v. encyclopedia
[edit]I see a few pages for We Need Diverse Books have been removed in the past for being written in a promotional manner vs. as an encyclopedia. I consulted other pages for non-profit organizations when creating this page, but I'm happy to discuss the issue. I'm not involved in WNDB in any way, but I'm also new to Wikipedia. - Thank you for creating the article and welcome to Wikipedia. I've taken a look at the article and I don't see a problem. Alázhlis (talk) 04:46, 13 January 2017 (UTC)
Sources too close too subject & Article layout
[edit]I'm slowly going through the article and trying to replace primary, self-sourced information with independent sources and information. I'd appreciate any help! (I just finished with the Walter Dean Myers Grant section).
This is separate, but I also think the article could be organized a bit differently. There are currently a lot of 1 paragraph subsections that could be either cut out, cut down, or merged into the "History" (or another) section. - Whisperjanes (talk) 19:04, 18 June 2020 (UTC)
