Such a worldwide list would be unwieldy. I see in Brittany alone there would be 100s of examples and other French regions too. I say it be curtailed. Per WP:N can we list those likely to be older than 1000 AD, please.- Adam37 Talk 21:18, 20 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

While I understand that this page was translated from the corresponding German wikipedia page, it doesn't seem quite right to see a list with twenty or more redlinked crosses in Germany, while other European countries may have no mention at all (cf. France et al.) In addition, the German crosses with photos from Wikimedia Commons are not listed in the list.

I propose the following:

  1. remove the list of crosses in Germany,
    OR
  2. split the list to a separate page.
    AND
  3. creat a subsection 'France' and include an interwiki link to the French page Croix de chemin until French wayside crosses are here in the English wikipedia.
  4. include a few other types of wayside cross in the gallery.
