This article needs to be updated pronto: to the dismay of fans "everywhere", Arthurs' knee gave out and the results of his match in the Australian Open today read: "MEN'S SINGLES - THIRD ROUND; MARDY FISH DEF. WAYNE ARTHURS, 3-0, RETIRED". Career over? Perhaps. --BenTremblay 01:24, 20 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Not an injury: TSN reports, "Wayne Arthurs, who retired in the first set while trailing 0-3. Arthurs was unable to play on after having a rare reaction to a local anaesthetic." --BenTremblay 01:34, 20 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
