Timeslot?

[edit]

This article points out that the episodes of Way Out appeared not only on the same network as The Twilight Zone (i.e., CBS), but on the same nights as episodes from season two of The Twilight Zone, which begs the question: which show's episodes aired earlier than the other's?

Wikipedia's season-two page for The Twilight Zone pages is very forthcoming with its information.  It says, "The second season of The Twilight Zone aired Fridays at 10:00–10:30 pm (EST) on CBS from September 30, 1960 to June 2, 1961" (emphasis removed) (source).  Unfortunately, the page on Way Out is less forthcoming.

So, anybody know in what timeslot Way Out aired?

If so, please improve this page by adding said information.

Thanks in advance,

Well, does it matter much? After all, the Twilight Zone was never the only one of its kind. There was Tales of Tomorrow, The outer limits, and no doubt a few others that left less impression. I for one would compare Dahl's series sooner with Alfred Hitchcock presents than with SF-related anthology series.Spiny Norman (talk) 20:27, 11 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Based on the commercials for the Twilight Zone contained in the 'Way Out episodes available on YouTube, the show aired right before The Twilight Zone. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.77.85.65 (talk) 06:16, 19 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
