Name

Should this be Y Waun Mawn (or Gwaun Mawn) since the noun (“moorland”) without the definite article is gwaun? Ordinance Survey list it as Waun Mawn, for what it’s worth. ☸ Moilleadóir ☎ 05:47, 16 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Welsh place names that use Y at the start are few and far between. I think it's safer to stick to the name used by Ordnance Survey and by all the sources, including Parker Pearson? Martinevans123 (talk) 10:04, 16 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Bluestones

5th largest or 6th largest?

The text says "fifth largest diameter for a British stone circle, after Avebury, Stanton Drew, Karl Lofts, Long Meg, and The Ring of Brodgar." - But this lists five stone circles that are larger. which would make Wan Mean the 6th largest? Mastakos (talk) 04:47, 4 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
